What common dreams have traditionally meant in Islamic interpretation, following the school of Ibn Sirin.
Dreams have three kinds: true dreams from Allah, whisperings from Shaytan, and the mind replaying the day. A good dream is a gift — thank Allah and share it only with those you trust. A bad dream is not a prophecy: seek refuge in Allah, spit lightly to your left three times, and tell no one. These meanings are traditional, not certain — only Allah knows.
